IPB(Invision Power Board) 2.1.0 Rc1 + ICB 1.2.0 Beta1 发布

Invision Power Services is pleased to announce the release of Invision Power Board 2.1.0 RC 1 and Invision Community Blog 1.2.0 BETA 1

Invision Power Board 2.1.0 RC 1 is the fifth full release and is available as an "UNSTABLE Release" release in your client center (which is near the bottom of the download manager after logging in).

This release fixes up over 45 bugs identified in this release (full list at the end of this post).

Invision Community Blog 1.2.0 BETA 1 is the first beta release of the IPB 2.1.0 compatible blog.

BETA / RC RELEASE LIMITATIONS

Please note that this release is NOT officially supported in any way. This release has been made available to help identify and fix bugs in the software and is not of release quality in any way and should NOT be used in a production environment in any instance. We are also NOT offering installation service on this release.

UPGRADING FROM IPB 2.0.x

We strongly recommend that you do not upgrade ANY live production board to IPB 2.1.0 RC 1 as we will not be able to provide you with support. There is no DOWNGRADE option and one will NOT be provided

However, if you wish to test the IPB 2.0.4 -> IPB 2.1.0 upgrade system, then please do so on either a test board or a COPY of your IPB 2.0.4 database. Full upgrade instructions can be found in the "readme.html" file in the download zip.

UPGRADING FROM IPB 2.1.0 BETA 5

Simply run the upgrade system by hitting the url (example: www.domain.com/forum/upgrade/)

Customers can download this release from their client center. Simply click on "Your Purchases" and select the IPB license you wish to download against. Below the "Download" link you'll see a link to: "Download other versions".
