尽管微软在 CES09 上发布了 Windows Live Essentials 正式版，但微软接下来还将推出一些 Windows Live Wave3 的更新，以完善产品。
第一个将推出的更新是针对 Windows Live Messenger Wave3 的，最近一微软职工在其 Messenger 的个人状态信息中透露叻新版本 Messenger 的版本号。经过 Neowin 的确认之后，微软计划为 Windows Live Messenger 推出 QFE（Quick Fix Engineering）补丁，但无新功能，只是为了修复 Bugs 和 Windows 7 的相关功能。版本号为 14.0.8059.0127。
第二个则是 Windows Live Hotmail 的，尽管我在之前提到 Windows Live Hotmail 一月将更新，但微软并没有为所有用户推出这项更新。在此次更新中，Windows Live Hotmail 将推出 POP 功能和 Web Messenger。
在谈 Windows Live Essentials，以及 iLife 中提到，我认为 Wave4 会将重点放在 Windows Live Essentials。当然，也不要忘了 Live Mesh 团队已加入 Windows/Windows Live 组织，Microsoft 将合并 Windows Live 和 Office Live，另外，可能在下月发布的 SkyBox, SkyLine 和 SkyMarket 会不会是 Windows Live 的一部分呢？
Neowin 的 Sean 称，Sky Drive, Live Mesh, 以及 Office Live 的更新下个月开始 Beta。
