## WindowBlinds 5 arrives November 29 ##
Make Windows look better, perform faster, and use less memory with the all-
new WindowBlinds 5!
WindowBlinds 5 is a program that can "skin" your Windows GUI (title bars,
push buttons, scrollbars, etc.). WindowBlinds 5 is the first major new
version of the program since 2003.
Version 5 takes advantage of DirectX hardware acceleration in most recent
nVidia and ATI cards to the point that repaints of windows when you move
are nearly eliminated speeding up system performance while enhancing the
look and feel of Windows.
It also eliminates any resident programs (previous versions of WindowBlinds
relied on a wbload.exe process) saving valuable resources and memory.
The most exciting and visual new feature in WindowBlinds 5 is the ability
to do per-pixel alpha blended title bars, borders, menus, and system
dialogs. As a result, users have made skins that have a glass effect on
them and eliminate jaggies. See the screenshots at the end of this entry

WindowBlinds 5 will be available on November 29. You can get it right now
on Object Desktop in late beta form.
